There are approximately 66 million cats in the United States alone;  60 percent of the pet owners have at least one dog as well. That is an overwhelming amount of animals in the world today providing companionship to their "parents" - we need to do our part, too; for them. We, as humans, can reduce our own carbon footprints, but they can't reduce theirs' on their own. With the onset of the threat of Global Warming, it's important that we do everything we can to save this earth. We, together, can change the direction in which this world is headed.

 What about our part?

As humans, it's equally important that we each make an effort to go "green". Brook Farm Veterinary Center subscribes to green-power offsets and runs this site on 100% renewable energy. While we don't have wind turbines or solar energy generators in our offices, the server this site is hosted on is a ‘Green’ energy efficient server, which produces 20% less CO2 than the average server.
